Definition of MYSQL :
Pronounced "my ess cue el"
This is a database that stores information and relies on SQL for processing the data. mysql provides an application program interface for different languages (PHP is what my course focuses on). The programmer (you) then puts all three together (mysql, sql, and php) to develop their website.
connecting to your mysql database can be a difficult obstacle to overcome. My training class will show you how easy this process is. we will not be using a local testing server, all of my examples will come from a hosting account that has previously been set up. when you join either the advanced dreamweaver class or set up one-on-one instruction you will see how easy it is to connect to your database. I had many headaches when I first started this process, but have overcome and would like to share my knowledge with you.
though it is not required to set up a hosting account with Keen Perspectives, LLC it may make the process a lot easier. i will be using one of my hosting accounts as an example and can only support questions concerning a KP hosting account. if you would like to set up a one month hosting account and register a domain name the cost is very low and you can cancel your one month subscription at anytime.
